Default Can 1/4th second casts trigger Savage Slash?

We haven't had favor in a while, but I was wondering if there is any difference in the chance between a 1 second cast and a 1/4th second cast triggering a disrupting move, such as Disrupting Blow or Savage Slash. (This question mostly has to do with Aatxe's in the UW).

Yes, it triggers it, but they can't interrupt it.

Not true, any skill except for stances and shouts can be interrupted, but a 1/4 second one takes some real good luck.

It used to be that queued skills could be interrupted as you might be moving or waiting for another action to finish. Now that the update has removed this ability for both monsters and and humans, the chance of having a stance interrupted becomes slim.

I've still had reversal of fortune interrupted by a rockshot when going after the queen.

In my experience, I've never had a stance interrupted before. I believe that stances are instant, meaning once you click on the stance, it auto activates, you can even do it when using another skill. Sure you can get your stance wild blowed, or not be able to use the stance due to blackout, but interrupt a stance? That I have never heard of...

I don't recall having ever seen interrupts of stances or shouts. That would be funny seeing a shout interrupted.

Actually, you can activate stances and shouts during knockdown. Only way for a stance to not go off is if your skill was disabled a la Blackout before you pressed the key.

Unless you have foresight, more like.

And he was talking 'bout PvE. I don't see any Aataxes in PvP...or do I?

A disrupting move WITHOUT a cast time will follow your attack speed.

A disrupting move WITH a cast time will ignore all sequence of attack animation when it is cast, and it will get it out in the cast time.

Bloodlight Eyes!

Monsters with the skill will use their current attack as a savage slash if you are casting during their attack... 1/4 is nearly impossible but it happens, especially if you cast versus multiple enemies with interrupts (avicara braves, bladeds, etc).
